In the early part of this year, the new/current Outreach committee members have spent time working to clearly articulate our strategic focus areas for the remainder of 2021 and beyond. In addition, we have outlined and clarified three guiding principles that support our strategic focus and will serve to align our collective efforts, decision-making and thought processes, as well as the performance goals of each and every national working committee and caucus.

These global guiding principles are:

• Committee experience: Taking care of people is at the heart of everything we do at The Green Party, and that begins with our own colleagues. Offering a world-class colleague experience enables us to attract and retain top talent, who, in turn, deliver for our constituents. Our colleague experience drives engagement and performance and supports our ability to deliver on our purpose.
• Constituent experience: Every single interaction that people have with the Green Party — whether it’s a phone call, voicemail, email, letter, website visit, online transaction or face-to-face encounter — contributes to their holistic perception of our platform and our name. Earning and keeping our constituents’ trust is paramount to our success as a political party. As we expand solutions to all of what the Green Party offers globally, we must always strive for further improvement and to deliver an even better constituent experience.
• Donation growth: Our ability to take care of both our colleagues and our constituents when and where they need us is contingent upon on our financial health, sustainability, continued growth and resource efficiency. The Green Party is and has always been a grassroots political movement, and that’s how we will evolve from a small third-party to the largest political movement in the world.

Every one of you has an important role to play in supporting these guiding principles and making the Green Party at the heart of the voters' rebellion and our right as voters to choose whichever candidates best represent our own views and desires, without being told year after year that we have no choice aside from bad and worse.

Now is the time to build a bridge from the world we have to the better world we know is possible.

Now is the time to grow a sustainable political force to work for grassroots democracy, nonviolence, social justice, and ecological wisdom.

Now is the time to discard failed ideologies and political structures and join together with the flourishing global grassroots Green movement to tackle real problems with real solutions.

If not us, who?
